Génies en herbe

Initiated by the library of the Keur Mame Fatim Konté centre, the second edition of the elementary school genius tournament started in February with 6 teams this year. During the elimination phase, pupils from Saer Seye, Darou Salam, Al Azar, Coumba and Samba Ndar, Macodou Ndiaye and Oumar Cyr Diagne elementary schools showed how seriously they took the tournament and how much fair play they had. The level of general culture of the students is very high and the teachers’ support was felt throughout the tournament. The main objective of this tournament is to push the students of these schools to improve their levels and especially to use ICT for research instead of games or other unhealthy activities.
