Alliums are striking in the garden and so easy to grow—and they're perfect for making the transition from spring-blooming bulbs like daffodils and tulips
Valentine® Dicentra Horseradish like the Fourth of JulyDicentra, or bleeding hearts, are a mainstay perennial for the shade garden, and we love this new twist on an old favorite. The bold red, white tipped, heart shaped, 1 in. flowers on arching stems are sure to brighten the shade garden when they bloom in mid spring and summer. Valentine Dicentra grows 28 32 in. tall with a similar spread. The bushy clumps have attractive deep green leaves that have hints of purple when they emerge in the spring.
