Description
Terroir: Domaine Jacques Prieur owns a small 1/2 acre parcel of 1er Cru of Clos de la Fèguine which is perched on a very steep portion of the south facing hillside
It is the concentration and structure of the wine that gave rise to its “Tardive” or “late” moniker: it is not late-harvested fruit but rather wine meant to be enjoyed later
With articulated fruit and polished tannins
Natalino's father Gino is crazy about Verdicchio and spent his life selecting old clones of Verdicchio from ancient vineyards called "alberate" and producing incredibly beautiful and complex whites

This tiny, steep, west facing site in the middle of the village is classically Meursault in character, with citrus and mineral notes, beautifully pure fruit in the mid palate and fine length. Firm reduction again renders the nose impossible to assess correctly. There is though a lovely freshness and verve to the nicely voluminous and rich medium bodied flavors that are supported by citrus tinged acidity
