Louis Jadot, Charmes Chambertin other_regions complex and lingering if decidedly
Baker’s notes & crumb story
Description
complex and lingering if decidedly rustic finish that is beginning to lean out
The 2016 Barolo Bricco delle Viole is going to need a few years to emerge
The restrained and markedly cool nose displays an impressive variety of floral and spice hints that add a sense of elegance to the stunningly complex ripe dark berry fruit and plum aromas
Some more time in bottle has made this a classic Port from start to finish in terms of aromatics and flavors
Louis Jadot, Charmes Chambertin other_regions complex and lingering if decidedly(from Charmes proper). Again, moderate but not invisible wood and menthol suffuse the ripe yet cool aromas of black cherry, violet and earth. The supple, round and caressing middle weight flavors offer good length and a certain class though not nearly the same complexity as the CSJ. In sum, this is prettier than it is deep.
