Caroline Morey, Chassagne Montrachet Champs Gains Vintage:2020 pure and nicely intense middle(from vines planted in 2009). An airy and pretty if not especially dense nose combines notes of white orchard fruit, especially pear, with those of citrus, wood and resin. The delicious and round flavors also display good punch that contrast somewhat with the youthfully austere and reasonably long finish. This will need to add depth if it is to merit the upper end of my projected range. (89 92) 2024+
