Cros de la Mure, Chateauneuf Du Pape other_regions (planted with vines of 20+
Baker’s notes & crumb story
Description
(planted with vines of 20+ and 65+ years of age that sit directly above Musigny)
An exuberantly fresh nose combines notes of various red berries
There is again fine richness and density to the solidly powerful flavors that terminate in a bone-dry bitter lemon rind-tinged finale
These aromas are held in tension
Cros de la Mure, Chateauneuf Du Pape other_regions (planted with vines of 20+Saturated ruby. Exotically perfumed scents of blueberry, mulberry, fruitcake and incense. Open knit dark berry compote flavors provide impressive palate coverage, with velvety tannins providing shape. Expands with air and picks up notes of candied licorice and mocha that carry through a very long, spicy, warm finish. This is drinking well right now especially if you like powerful, superrich Chateauneuf. Josh Raynolds
