Billaud Samuel, Chablis Grands Terroirs Vintage:2017 (from La Rue au Vache)There is an abundance of classic Chablis character on the nose of green fruit, sea breeze and quinine aromas. The round and utterly delicious medium weight flavors possess good volume along with very good mid palate fat, all wrapped in an attractively persistent if slightly fruit and warm finale. I very much like the nose though the palate impression is softer than I typically find with this wine. Note that this is already drinking well.
