Antique Architectural Books McKim Mead and White NY Architects 3 Vols 1st Ed Continental brooch rounded necklineThis is a rare first edition of three volumes of A Monograph of the Works of McKim, Mead and White (1879 1915), an important New York based architectural firm. White was Stanford White, known for his Beaux Arts designs for the rich and famous of the Gilded Age, and who gained notoriety after being shot and killed by Harry Thaw, over Whites relationship with Thaws wife Evelyn Nesbit. McKim, Mead and White were responsible for many major commercial and
