You've got Sick Of It All, you've got Bad Brains, and you've got Subzero. Bad Brains are the first ever hardcore band, and were originally from Washington, DC. They were famously "Banned In DC" and moved up to New York in the early 80s. Sick Of It All started a few years later and cemented what the real New York Hardcore sound and style was. Subzero was then a few years after that in New
