This very attractive oil on canvas painting depicts a coastal scene with a team of Shire or Draught horses pulling a ship's main mast with chains out of the sea, after a shipwreck. A figure astride one of the lead horses is looking back to guide the horses, in the distance are two more figures walking by the water's edge. The sky is
