Amorphophallus kiusianus Mr Green Genes Plant Delights Introductions This early Indian import inAmorphophallus kiusianus 'Mr. Green Genes' is a 2018 Plant Delights Nursery introduction of a seedling we selected in 2005. While the mid June emerging palm like foliage is the same as a typical Amorphophallus kiusianus, the inflorescence, which appears in late April early May (NC) differs with a green vs. black spadix, and a spathe that is green and white speckled instead of purple and white. For us, Amorphophallus kiusianus flowers every other year.
