There is a phenolic hint (think nut or olive oil) to the smoky mix of petrol, apple, dried apricot and white peach aromas that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. I very much like the sense of underlying tension to the caressing, exceptionally rich and generously proportioned big bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the moderately structured and sneaky long finish. This is actually very forward for a young
