Kahlua was born in the dark mysterious jungles among the Mayan ruins. The Alvarez brothers searched the coffee fields looking to source the richest possible beans. They engaged Senor Blanco to use their beans and initiate the original Kahlua recipe. The formula, many years later (1936) was then perfected by a Chemist named Montalvo Lara
