The bowl is made with a scalloped flat rim. This bowl is usually referred to as a 5 bowl, but it actually measures 5 3 8 across. The bowl area measures 4 in diameter,. It is in very good condition with the exception of some roughness micro chips to the interior rim, and a couple to the outside edge, really minor. This is a wonderful addition
