Mate, Veltha Vintage:2020 This is a ripeDarkly alluring, the 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Veltha opens in the glass with an array of grilled herbs, ashen stones and dried black cherries. This is soft and round, with a wave of ripe violet laced red and black fruits, sweet spice and a crunch of tactile minerality toward the close. The 2020 tapers off with a classically dry feel with crisp tannins, hints of spiced orange and an air of lavender that lingers on and on. This is a fantastic showing
