Hosta Hillbilly Blues 4a protected site and mulch well(syn: H. 91 294) Our 1999 introduction is the first hosta to combine the traits of the late flowering, deeply veined rock hosta, H. kikutii with the blue of H. sieboldiana. This new hybrid (H. 'Hirao Splendor' x H. 'Hadspen Blue') forms a stunning 3' wide rosette of deeply veined, powder blue leaves.
