They released 13 albums and sold over 35 million of them during their decades' long career. But the thing about the Dead is that they were band best experienced live. While the band had various lineup changes throughout their career, the core of Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, and Bill Kreutzmann remained a constant, the heart and soul of the band.
