Dryopteris erythrosora Part Sun to Light Shade Salvia microphylla and Salvia x
Baker’s notes & crumb story
Description
Salvia microphylla and Salvia x jamensis are sun lovers
Other than clearing away the dead foliage in fall
For year-round interest it's hard to beat this felt-like
It will not thrive in deep or very dry shade
Dryopteris erythrosora Part Sun to Light Shade Salvia microphylla and Salvia xDryopteris erythrosora is one of the most popular and widely grown hardy ferns in the country. This favorite evergreen fern is prized for its 2' long, very dark green triangular fronds and striking new foliage of red and bronze. We love scattering these 2' wide clumpers throughout the woodland garden as a background for hostas and other bold textured woodland plants.
