This beautiful pear starts from glass cane that is heated and stretched over a torch, before being blown into shape by the artist. The corresponding colored cane is then used to create the Macchia (spots) on the pear before it is fired in a furnace and 24k gold foil is applied giving it a regal and gilded effect. * Each pear measures approximately 3" tall
