Chateau de Chambert Cahors Malbec 2014 Grape:85% Malbec, 15% Merlot Tocai Friulano"Chteau de Chambert" is the historic wine of the chateau, a blend of 85% Malbec and 15% Merlot. The addition of merlot gives the wine a suppleness and expressive red fruit characters in its youth and the Malbec component increases its cellaring potential. This wine is aged 12 months in barrel to achieve a perfect balance of fruit, silky tannins and a delicate spice of french oak. It is a wine that can easily age from 15 20 years depending on the
