Sagamore Spirit Double Oak Rye Whiskey independent On the palateHailing from Maryland, Sagamore has become known for award winning ryes. Their Double Oak is aged in high char new American oak barrels, then transferred into toasted wave stave barrels for an additional 18 months. It's sweet for a rye, giving notes of caramel, toffee, hazelnut, and toasted coconut. Age 4 5 Years. Mash Bill Undisclosed (at least 51% rye). Proof 96. 6 48. 3% ABV
