Baker’s notes & crumb story

Description

Bees are the main pollinators for all hostas

we recommend planting this in a crevice or other area where it can get at least 3-4 hours of sun

since it was first introduced in 1864

these may be removed to improve the plants appearance

Hosta Grand Tiara Aucuba Bees are the main pollinatorsThis is by far our favorite of the H. 'Golden Tiara' sports. Discovered at Virginia's Mobjack Nursery and first auctioned for $700 at the 1992 Hosta Convention, this vigorously growing 22" wide clump has lovely, round golden leaves with a narrow green pattern in the center of the foliage. In midsummer, the clumps are literally smothered with scapes of purple flowers breathtaking!
