Baker’s notes & crumb story
Description
forest berry
The beautifully refined middle weight flavors possess fine delineation and a touch of minerality that continues onto the cool
the medium-bodied and concentrated flavors are even more powerful than those of the Bougros and Valmur
Truffle and tobacco with cherries and cedar chest aromas in the nose
Ghislaine Barthod, Chambolle Musigny Baudes other_regions forest berry(from a . 23 ha parcel of 45+ year old vines). This is one of the ripest wines in the range yet it somehow manages to remain fresh with its violet, dark cherry and plum liqueur like aromas. The mouth feel of the middle weight plus flavors is bold and powerful with plenty of mid palate concentration and muscle that is enhanced by the firm tannins and huge length. This is a classic Baudes of power and punch if not necessarily refinement. (90 93) 2025+
