Antique 19th Century Victorian Engraved Horses Pony Hoof Pewter Snuff Box 1860 Recently Added both are Loch scenesAn unusual mid 19th century Victorian horses hoof & pewter snuff box, circa 1860. The snuff box having a hinged lid with engraved floral decoration and a curled finial to open the box, the base with a horse shoe plaform supported by a hooved leg with a fleur des lis finial. The auctual body of the box is made from a horses hoof, which may seem a little gruesome, but in reality it was more likley a memento of a loved and trusted steed! The box is in
